Saluki Reefers

The Saluki Coral Reefers lay the foundation to grow and propagate high-quality corals for the coral aquarium market and research initiatives examining the complex linkages between freshwater and marine ecosystems. We are a pioneering project at SIUC.  We aim to bring marine conservation and innovation to the Midwest. Although we are still in the early stages, our mission is to establish a sustainable coral farm that advances scientific understanding and raises awareness about the critical role corals and our oceans play in marine ecosystems.
